Since February 2021, I have been a postdoctoral researcher in the Coding and Cryptography (COD) group at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), which is led by Prof. Antonia Wachter-Zeh.
From October 2019 to January 2021, I was an H.C. Ørsted postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). My hosts were Prof. Johan Rosenkilde and Prof. Peter Beelen. Before, I was a postdoc in the COD group at TU Munich (May 2018 to September 2019).
From January 2014 to April 2018, I was a research assistant at the Institute of Communications Engineering, Ulm University. In June 2018, I defended my PhD thesis with the title "Construction and Decoding of Evaluation Codes in Hamming and Rank Metric", which was advised by Prof. Martin Bossert.
For my dissertation, I received the Südwestmetall Advancement Award (Südwestmetall-Förderpreis) 2019 [Ulm University] [Südwestmetall, in German] [TUM, LNT Institute News] as well as the dissertation award by the University Society of Ulm (Ulmer Universitätsgesellschafts-Promotionspreis) 2019 [Ulm University, in German].
I obtained a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from Ulm University (2009-2012), was an exchange student at the University of Toronto, Canada, for two semesters (2012-2013), and received a B.Sc. in mathematics from Ulm University (2013-2016).
